10 GWh ACC Battery Manufacturing Tender क्या है?

Ministry of Heavy Industries ने Advanced Chemistry Cell (ACC) manufacturing के लिए एक Global Tender के माध्यम से manufacturers से proposals आमंत्रित किए हैं। इस tender के तहत भारत में cumulative 10 GWh manufacturing capacity स्थापित करने का प्रस्ताव है।

PLI ACC Scheme का उद्देश्य

Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for Advanced Chemistry Cell Battery Storage को भारत में domestic ACC manufacturing capability विकसित करने के उद्देश्य से शुरू किया गया था। सरकार ने May 2021 में National Programme on Advanced Chemistry Cell (ACC) Battery Storage को मंजूरी दी थी।

PLI Scheme Outlay: National Programme on ACC Battery Storage के लिए कुल ₹18,100 करोड़ का budgetary outlay रखा गया है और targeted ACC manufacturing capacity 50 GWh है।

सरकारी जानकारी के अनुसार targeted 50 GWh capacity में से 40 GWh capacity पहले ही domestic manufacturers को award की जा चुकी है। वर्तमान 10 GWh tender grid-scale stationary storage applications के लिए earmark किया गया है। 1

10 GWh Battery Manufacturing Project क्यों महत्वपूर्ण है?

Grid-scale energy storage systems renewable energy को integrate करने और electricity supply को अधिक flexible बनाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा सकते हैं। इसी आवश्यकता को देखते हुए 10 GWh ACC manufacturing capacity को Grid-Scale Stationary Storage applications के लिए earmark किया गया है। 2

सरकार के अनुसार इस initiative का उद्देश्य domestic ACC manufacturing capabilities को मजबूत करना, imported ACCs पर dependence कम करना और भारत में globally competitive battery manufacturing ecosystem विकसित करना है। 3

Industry Participation: 29 July 2026 को आयोजित pre-bid conference में 30 से अधिक prospective bidders और industry stakeholders ने participation किया था। 4
