Gohpur–Numaligarh Underwater Tunnel Project

यह project Assam के Gohpur और Numaligarh के बीच एक महत्वपूर्ण transport corridor विकसित करने से संबंधित है। इसका सबसे प्रमुख हिस्सा Brahmaputra River के नीचे बनने वाला Twin Tube Underwater Tunnel है।

Tunnel के अलावा project में approach roads और उससे जुड़े आवश्यक infrastructure works भी शामिल हैं। Railway infrastructure के लिए एक tunnel tube में provision रखा गया है, जिससे road और rail connectivity को एक integrated corridor के रूप में विकसित करने की योजना है।

Project के तहत tunnel construction के साथ approach infrastructure और railway provision से जुड़े आवश्यक works को भी निर्धारित technical specifications के अनुसार execute किया जाना है।
